Evaluation of scientific merit.
Author(s): Estrela C, Del Bel Cury AA
The evaluative process is essential for the quality control of projects and research(ers). To evaluate is to measure, compare, judge, or valorize. The evaluative process should be permanent and incentivize decision making. The value and pattern of the evaluation must be clearly defined, to determine the best characteristics of the science. High-quality innovative studies should be disseminated and highlighted in high-impact journals.
