OBJECTIVE
The course presents an innovative proposal, based on advanced diagnostic features such as conical beam computed tomography, technical strategies for root canal preparation and obturation, as well as the use of ultrasound and electronic locators. The objective is to enable the professional to face the various challenging situations and obstacles inherent to Endodontics, based fundamentally on scientific and defined protocols, with a highly qualified faculty staff. New advancements in endodontic treatment will be discussed, along with their clinical application.
PROGRAM
- Diagnosis and treatment of pulpal and periapical alterations;
- Computed tomography in endodontic diagnosis;
- Rotatory and reciprocating systems for the preparation of the root canal;
- The use of apical locators in determining the work length;
- Ultrasonic assist tips in endodontic treatment;
- Use of the clinical microscope;
- New techniques of obturation in Endodontia;
- Laboratory training;
- Clinical care.
