OBJECTIVE
The specialization course in Endodontics aims the education of the Dental Surgeon, developing the ability to take actions with the purpose of tooth prevention through conservative treatment, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and control of pulpal and periapical alterations. They involve conservative pulp vitality procedures, operative procedures in the pulp tissue and cavity, therapeutic procedures in the dental and parendodontic traumas.
The structure is based on basic knowledge essential to the understanding of all pathophysiological phenomena related to the dental, pulpal and periapical complex and its applications. There is also planning, diagnosis structuring, treatment and application of endodontic treatment techniques.
The whole discussion will be conducted without dogmas, open to scientific debate, aiming for well-conducted and biologically based researches.
